You know how I love my spring, the baby leaves, sticky and bright emerging from the buds on the long quiet branches. This is a tribute to birch, one of my favorite trees and a subject I keep revisiting in my beadwork. Living amongst the dark evergreens, mainly the prickly spruce, the deciduous trees are special and cherished.
Two of my favorites. Birch trees and crows or ravens. I was so lucky to have been able to work a travel nurse assignment in Bar Harbor, Maine. I was surrounded by Birch trees. I made some jewelry displays from a fallen one. I'll post some pics on my blog someday and do a tutorial. I'm just curious, what are the dimensions of the bags you make? They are all so pretty. I am a huge fan of yours. You have a very unique style. I love it.
