Finishing up this winter solstice piece. The beadwork is done and it's time to attach it to the leather. I'm torn between brown which brings out the hawk and wolf colors or black which sticks to the dark mood of the piece. My plan is for the bag to have loads of fringe so envision that when you make your color choice. Which do you like? The darkness this time of year seems to just sap my energy so it's a miracle I'm getting anything done. Coffee works for awhile. It's cold this morning, in the single digits. The birds hit the feeder as soon as the low on the horizon sun comes up, and my old cat Crazy is nestled by the wood stove soaking up the heat. We have about 6 hours of day light this time of year. No problem though because I find time passes so quickly, the season flies by. So wishing you a magical solstice, no telling what kind of mischief happens in the dark...

ReplyDeleteWell, I left a message on FB...I did like the brown as I thought it tied in the wolf and hawk...but I can also see why folks like the black...glad it's a decision that you have to make...and you'll make the correct one...actually, I don't see either as being a bad decision! HA
